Education
Domenico Giuri is a criminal lawyer, and he has been a member of the Venice Bar Association since 1993. He holds a degree in Law from the University of Catania and has been enrolled in Albo Speciale Cassazionisti e Giurisdizioni Superiori (Special Register of Lawyers and Superior Jurisdictions) since 2011.

Professional Background
Founder of MDA Studio Legale e Tributario in 2002, he is still its Senior Partner and head of the Corporate Criminal Law, Environment and Workplace Safety, Compliance and Liability 231. He deals with corporate criminal law and administrative law, having a long experience in the areas of environment and workplace safety and offences against the Public Administration. He advises companies, directors, and public and private managers in criminal and administrative proceedings. He also provides advice to companies and entities on administrative liability and Organisational Models pursuant to the Italian Legislative Decree no. 231/2001, environmental due diligenge, and workplace safety within the scope of acquisitions, and local taxes. He is a member/chairman of Supervisory Bodies pursuant to the Italian Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.

Other works
He was Honorary Professor of Criminal Law at the Law School of the University of Catania from 1980 to 1983 and Honorary Professor to the Chair of Environmental Criminal Law of the School of Economics of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice from 2010 to 2013. He was an officer of Confindustria Venezia from 1983 to 1992. Upon appointment by the Veneto Regional Council and as an expert, he was a member of the Regional Environmental Technical Commission from 1992 to 1995. He was a full member of the Examination Commission for admission to the practice of law at the Venice Court of Appeal – Session 2017-2018.
