MDA law firm assisted a Venetian industrial group operating in the energy sector through an important project financing operation: thanks to the effective advisor role of the MDA lawyers Alessio Vianello and Silvia Tisato, the Company obtained a 8.6 million euros financing from FriulAdria Crédit Agricole and MPS Capital Services Banca per le Imprese S.p.A. for the construction of a 2.200 kw hydroelectric plant in the province of Asti.
The work will be carried out by a company acquired by the Venetian industrial group thanks to MDA’s consulting support.
The hydropower plant, flowing water, will be located on the Tanaro river, in the town of Castello di Annone (Asti), and will be provided with an installed electric power of 2,200 kW and all infrastructure and connecting works.
Up to date, the Venetian industrial group, one of MDA’s loyal customers, has a portfolio of 15 operating facilities and three more under construction. The building the Asti power line involves a total investment of 10.5 million euros. The plant construction work, which began in the spring of 2014, should end by summer 2015, allowing the plant to come into operation by the end of the year.
